CARRIE BRADSHAW TEAM 2

We are all used to watch beautiful model’s or bloggers’ pictures with trendy clothes and dream to be in their place one day. Today I felt as one of those girls that I always wanted to be like. Posing in my new green shoes and tutu dress at one of the most fashionable spots of Paris – Place Vendôme, I felt really confortable as if I fit into the chic and glorious parisian fashion circle. Well I think it was a child’s dream that came true.

Hi everyone! I’m so excited because what I’m going to present you today is a bit cheeky but I let you judge and decide whether it’s cool or not!

Usually I’m not too much in long dresses or skirts but when I saw that long khaki dress I could not resist buying it. I decided to add a “little mistery” to my look by wearing this black hat (love it and I’ve bought it only for 10 euros at Montmartre!). What I like in this look is my dark red lips and my Ninewest purse (I’ll be posting soon about my make up). But the surprise of this outfit is the back of my Mango t-shirt that I get printed as “Carrie Bradshaw team”. Everybody remembers Carrie from the Sex and the city? Love this serie and of course, Carrie! So let me know, girls, what do you think? Bisous

MY MORNING MAKEUP ESSENTIALS

Follow
Hi Guys! I hope you’re all having a sunny Sunday! Today I’m going to show you my morning makeup essentials that I have tested on me and now I can recommend you.

MAKE UP

  1. Before ever applying any make up on your face, don’t forget to moisture your skin with any hydrating cream. I’m using Hydrotempo Soin Hydrate 8h of Skin Minute. I trust any cosmetics of this brand as they contain 0% paraben and I’ve been using them since couple of years now.
  2. Once your skin is hydrated now you can go on with the foundation. I’m using Diorskin Nude of Dior as this glow and light foundation matches my skin at 100%. This is the best foundation that I’ve been ever used.
  3. Then I’m applying the Bronzing power from Sephora in order to contour a bit my face. It’s the first time I’ve ever bought Sephora makeup and still now it works rather good for me. Please note that if you want to make a light contouring it’d better to use a bronzing power rather than a cream (especially in summer!).
  4. Now we can go with the eyes! I have this Dior’s eyeshadow palette with light colors that I find classy and actually it can go with any outfit or style. Here comes my second Sephora makeup product – the eyeliner. It’s a waterproof liquid pencil eyeliner that I appreciate very much as it’s easy to apply, it stands the whole day and the one thing that I like most about it is that acually when you apply it, it doesn’t leave any prints on your eyelids. Perfect for me as I’ve been struggling with this with other eyeliners and pencils. I’m using as well Dior’s mascara Diorshow. I know, there are too many Dior products in my makeup, I’ll be soon posting about my Dior Essentials to show why I use their cosmetics in particular.
  5. Now the lips…There is a rule about the lips and the eyes: if you highlight your eyes (eyeliner, mascara – the basics + colorful eyeshadow), then no need to highlight as much the lips (you can skip well contoured dark red lips) as either your eyes or your lips must be accentuated, not both of them!).
  6. Once I’m done with my face, I apply on my skin my favourite Exsens Glam Oil which illuminates and makes it soften. Actually the scent is so delicous and sexy that sometimes I skip my perfume when I apply this oil.

Please leave your comments if you have any questions or remarks concerning any of above mentioned products! See you! Bisous

VISITING PARIS 11

Follow
This is not a secret that Paris is one of the most visited cities in the word. The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre Museum – this list is not exhaustive. The tourists are part of Paris and I guess today we can’t imagine Paris without its numerous international guests. But what if you have already visited the most famous spots and are looking for somewhere that you won’t run across the crowds of tourists and still enjoy the beautiful parisian dream? Well, Paris still can offer many unusual places where you can disconnect from the big city and enjoy your time.

We will start our Journey from Paris 11 (the 11 district of Paris). It spreads from the Place de la République, continues to Bastille and ends up at the Place de la Nation.

PLACE DE LA REPUBLIQUE

This is one of the symbolic places of Paris where manifestations and other types of public movement events are organized and held. At the center of the square there is a statue of Marianne who is the personification of the French Republic as it was erected in honor of the anniversary of the French Revolution. She is holding an olive branch in her right hand and a board engraved with the Human Rights. At the bottom of the statue you will always find flags, candles, pictures and other stuff that people leave here to commemorate something. This place can both be over crowded during such events and quiet and welcoming the other days. You can actually find during the lunchbreak or at the end of the working day a lot of people having their meal here, or groups of friends chatting and sitting on the steps. In other words, this is a rather popular and welcoming district.

You can actually find some interesting restaurants in this area. Before arriving to the square there is this family restaurant – El Rincon Espanol with plenty of spanish food, tapas, etc for spanish speciality lovers.

Those who will choose the French food are welcome to this unusual restaurant called “the Pharmacy”. Bon appetit!

PLACE DE LA BASTILLE

Well this place is known for the Bastille prison which was destructed in 1789-1790 during the French Revolution. At the center of the place there is the July Column which commemorates the events of the July Revolution. The Place of Bastille or simply, Bastille is one of the busiest districts of Paris with La Roquette, Oberkampf and Rue de Lappe streets and their funky night clubs, bars and boutiques. One of the most famous feature of Bastille is the Opera Bastille.

LA ROQUETTE

La Roquette is the busiest street of Bastille. It’s well known for its nightclubs and numerous cafés and bars where people just can hang on and have afterworks. If you walk down the street, you’ll run into the Rue de Lappe with its numerous bars, the Fontaine de la Roquette (historic fountain built in 1846), Bastille Theatre, etc. At the end of the street you will certainly come across a little park where you can have a rest, read your favourite book, or whaterver you please to do in the arms of nature.

When you are at the street La Roquette there is a little passage called “Passage des Taillandiers”. This passage is very special to me as one of the most important dance studios of Paris is situated right here – Studio Harmonic. I’ve been going there already for 6 months and I’m pretty satisfied of the dancers high level. There are a lot of young famous dancers that I knew there such as Yanis Marshall, Inès Van Damme, Nathalie Lucas, etc. Once I even came across into the famous French news presenter, Claire Chazal who seemed to take classical dance courses there. This studio offers a huge list of different dance styles as classical dance, modern jazz, street jazz, salsa, oriental dance, hip hop, etc.

RUE DE LAPPE

Rue de Lappe is the right street if you’re looking for original bars to have a drink with your friends and to find yourself in an authentic parisian underworld. Bar des Ferrailleurs, Habanero, La Chapelle des Lombards and a lot of others that you could try as there is a big choice!

HIDDEN TREASURES OF BASTILLE

Finally we approach to the hidden unusual spot of the Bastille district. The most fascinating thing about it is that you can literally walk along a place not knowing that behind the closed doors there is a spectacular and secret yard. One of these places is the Cité du Figuier – a hidden yard where actually there are people living. It is situated at 106, Oberkampf street in Paris 11. When you arrive there you might walk a little bit trying to find the entrance for couple of minutes (as I did) but no worries as you only have to open the big green entrance door to access this beautiful court. This place carried me away into a different epoch since I saw these really cute colorful houses full of mistery. Couple of blocks down you can find the Museum of Edith Piaf and different interesting restaurants and bars.

HEALTHY BROCCOLI

Follow
Hello friends! Today I’m presenting you another healthy and delicous recipe for your lunch or dinner. I had it for dinner and recommend you too as if you’re eating healthy, you must be in search of a light dinner. Well, in this case the broccoli is perfect for you as it’s very low in cholesterol and calorie and it can be used as a detox! I know that for me it’s important to have a dish full of colors, as our brain is very responsive to what we eat, the form, shapes, colors and the smell of course. That’s why I try to make all my meals eye catching.IMG_20160418_232008

The recipe is quite easy to cook. I steamed the broccoli and heat up one fish stick. Then I added two spoons of carrot / pea mixture (you can find it in cans), two spoons of a garlic olive oil and this fantastic mixture that I’ve found at bonjourfrenchfood. This is a salad mixture with black olives, pumpkin seeds, flaked almonds, marigold flower and basil. Leave a comment if you try to cook this dish. Bon appetit!IMG_20160418_232039

MY SUNDAY BREAKFAST & LUNCH

Follow
Hello friends! It’s very important to start a healthy Sunday before approaching a new working week. That’s why I like to cook something delicious on the weekend as everybody I suppose. If you’re thinking the same and don’t have an idea how to do it, please read this post!

Well as usually I’ve started my day with a glass of lemon water as I’m used to do it since couple of years now. Then I did some exercises during 5-10 minutes (as it’s Sunday, there is no reason to not do that, no work, no hurry). And once the morning rituals are done, here we go with the first meal of the day – the breakfast! I’ve actually started with the second bowl – oat cereals with chocolate chips and rice milk. As I was going to have a second bowl of fruit salad the portion of the cereals is not too big. And then I’ve added a second bowl of fruit mix – melon, watermelon, banana and some chopped brazil nuts. These ingredients are vital as they are a good source of both vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber.

HEALTHY BREAKFAST

I want to share as well the idea of my lunch – healthy lunch! Always a bit of proteins – bio tofu steak + carbohydrates – quinoa rice and a fresh salad with tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers! I promise that it feels easy after this meal!
